Calvert Trust, Kielder - July 2010
The club had another successful, albeit unexpected, trip to the Calvert Trust in Kielder in early July. Another group cancelled at short notice, and No Limits were offered the chance fill the vacant places, which we jumped at.
Saturday was glorious and sunny, though Sunday was the more usual windy, wet and midgy. Everyone had a great time, even the soggy sailors.
Here are a few of the activities from the weekend:
Climbing Wall
Almost everyone had a go at climbing the walls, doing what they could. The centre staff very helpful and competent and everyone was encouraged to push themselves.

Sailing
Kielder Water is a very pleasant place to sail when the weather's fair. We had the use of the centre's Drascombes for both days - force three and sunshine on Saturday, absolutely perfect. Sadly, Sunday morning proved to be squally and wet, with a severe weather warning for the afternoon.

King Swing
Not for the faint hearted, this is one of the largest swings in the UK. You either love it or loathe it!

Velcro Olympics
Definitely one for the youngsters
